Armstrong said the reason Kevin Sullivan has a grudge against him and SMW was that when they first started the promotion, Sullivan wanted to be part of it but they didn’t want him because he’s so violent. “Bullet” Bob mentions that is the reason you don’t see Sullivan anywhere on TV now and has to go overseas to wrestle. He said Sullivan held this grudge and decided to destroy Brian Lee.

Armstrong says that he will keep the ban on Sullivan wrestling on TV. He will let him wrestle in SMW. However, he’s going to bring a real bad man in the Mongolian Stomper to go up against Sullivan at Thanksgiving Thunder. They show highlights of Bob Armstrong wrestling The Mongolian Stomper.

They air what Bob Caudle calls a “paid advertisement” from Kevin Sullivan. He’s outdoors with his followers and talks about Commissioner Bob Armstrong and Brian Lee. He blames what he did to Brian Lee on Armstrong. Sullivan said all he ever wanted was a chance to wrestle in SMW but he was turned down due to being “too violent”.

He warns Armstrong that this is just the beginning and says promoters want to make it wrestling into a “kiddie show” and he’s no “kiddie show”. He says its people like Armstrong that pass judgment that is why he is there. He is upset that the big promotions are trying to sanitize wrestling. Paul Orndorff promo for a match against The Dixie Dynamite. He’s not pleased about wrestling in Hazard, Kentucky.

Ronnie Garvin & The Rock ‘n’ Roll Express are thrilled to be wrestling The Heavenly Bodies & Jim Cornette on next week’s show. They can’t wait to get their hands on Jim Cornette!

SHOW THOUGHTS: Good episode. They continue to build up all the feuds heading into Thanksgiving Thunder. The Kevin Sullivan promo was great. Cornette’s reaction to Ronnie Garvin added to next week’s six-man tag team match was great. The only match that I thought was worth watching was The Stud Stable vs. The Fantastics but for the most part the matches were kept short. Orndorff was great on this show as well.
