SHOW THOUGHTS: These were two matches from two different events. They aired on two different TV episodes but because there isn’t a lot of lucha libre footage available from the ’80s, that’s all we have available. It would have been fun to have seen the match that set-up the El Egipcio vs. Rayo de Jalisco Jr. feud since El Egipcio turned rudo while teaming with Rayo de Jalisco Jr. and Hombre Bala in a trios match. Then we get the tag match that made video and that had a lot of heat since you have the recently turned El Egipcio teaming with a relative newcomer in Masakre. We also don’t have the relevos suicidas match that leads into the mask match. Mask match was pretty good. Fans were into it. They did a solid job of making fans believe Rayo could lose his mask.
