SHOW THOUGHTS: Excellent episode! This might be one of the better Mid-South episodes from 1982. The first two matches to start the show were good. Then they went to a couple of squash matches although Bill Ash did get some offense in on Mike Sharpe but still that was a quick match. Then they had a really good match between Mr. Olympia and Bob Roop. Mr. Olympia busted out a tope suicida in his match. Really good finish in that match with both trying to get the sleeperhold on. Then the Duggan match was a squash. They closed the show out with a real wild finish to the tag match. Ladd and JYD trying to fight off four heels and still getting the win was pretty great. The post-match interview with JYD and Ladd was great too. Ladd holding up the broken chair and cutting a promo about how DiBiase made a mistake going after JYD was great. Fun episode.
